What is a search form?

Use the Search form to view a list of valid values.

Many of the Caselle Connect programs feature a new Search form that allows you additional options when searching for values in various programs. You can tell that a program uses the new Search because the search binoculars in the toolbar will be gray. If the search binoculars in the toolbar are black, that means the program uses the old Search form.

Differences and enhancements

There are four key differences between the old Search form and the new Search form. The NEW search form

provides a new system for accessing grid options;
provides additional grid options that were not available in the old Search form;
allows users to search for a value across multiple columns; and
provides enhanced filter capabilities.
