How do I approve invoices? (Connect Online)

Connect Online Accounts Payable

Use Connect Online to approve invoices. Depending on the invoice properties that your organization is using to approve invoices, you may be able to approve the entire invoice, approve a partial invoice, hold an invoice, or modify and then approve an invoice.

1. Open My Dashboard.

2. Click Applications .

3. Click Approve Invoices.

The Approve Invoices page shows the invoices waiting for approval that are assigned to you.

Approving all invoices assigned to me

Use the grid on the Approve Invoices page to select an invoice.

  • To approve all invoices assigned to me, click Approve All. 

  • To hold all invoices assigned to me, click Hold All. 

  • To clear all of my selections, click Clear All. The approval status changes to [blank]. 

 

When you're done, click Submit.

Use the Status menu to approve a single invoice. If the invoice has more than one sequence, approving it will approve all sequences on the invoice.

Approving an invoice item

The invoice details display the items on the invoice. You can use this window to approve or hold an invoice item.

To approve or hold an invoice item, select an invoice item and then use the Status menu. When you're donw, click Submit.

To approve or hold all invoice items, use the buttons at the bottom of the Invoice Details window. When you're done, click Submit.

  • To approve all invoice items, click Approve All. 

  • To hold all invoice items, click Hold All. 

  • To clear all of my selections, click Clear All. 

 

When you're done, click Submit.
