What is a disposition?

A disposition is the method of discarding an asset.

There are four disposition methods that are commonly used: Sale, Trade, Transfer, and Junk. You can change the disposition name to fit the names your organization is currently using to dispose assets, however each disposition type must be linked to a pre-defined method of disposal. For example, Jane can create a disposition for Lost assets that uses Junk as the method.
